How We Finally Made It Through a Neighborhood Walk Without Drama (Why The Austlen Entourage 2.0 Is THE Best Double Stroller of 2025)

Before we had our second kid, evening walks were part of our daily routine. Once the baby came along? Not so much. Our toddler didn’t want to sit in a stroller anymore, and I didn’t have the hands or patience for a scooter meltdown halfway down the block.

Initially I was shopping exclusively for a Double Stroller, because that’s what you do right, when that second kid comes along? But having a tall and fidgety toddler, it seemed like we would spend the money and still have a frustrated kid who couldn’t get comfortable and would want out at the drop of a hat.

Enter: the Austlen Entourage. It has a double stroller option, but the ingenious Sit and Stand is what won me over —and wow, does it deliver.

Now our toddler hops on the built-in rider platform, rides for a bit, then walks alongside us when he’s feeling adventurous. The jump seat also folds down so he can sit and rest when he gets really tired. No complaints, no begging to be carried. Our baby’s got the front seat, comfy and secure, and I’ve got space in the basket for snacks, a blanket, and a water bottle.

The engineering and design of this thing completely blew my mind. I can instantly retract it to the size of a single stroller when he decides to walk, and the push is effortless even one handed (which is key because I still need the other hand to hold his when we cross the street!).

I can’t stress this enough: if you’re trying to get out of the house with a toddler and a baby and stay sane, this is the best stroller for neighborhood walks. Simple, reliable, and surprisingly fun.
