I was soooo excited for these, and I was bragging to everyone about them coming out with beach wheels, especially since we had a beach trip coming up. They were great until we got to the sand lol. The front wheels get stuck, and the actual beach wheels don’t make it easier. We got stuck serves times in the sand trying to pull this thing. The wheels were barely moving. They for one need beach wheels for the front and back, and I’m thinking definitely a different model or version. We had to take the kids out i hope of lightening the load which was still wayyy less than capacity with them on it, and we couldn’t get the spot we wanted because we didn’t want to deal with trying to get the stroller that far so we had to stay close to the beach entrance. They make a lot of great products of course, but unfortunately missed the mark with this one.

Please note the beach wheels are designed to be pulled backward through the sand instead of pushing it (the front wheels should only lightly touch the sand). While sand is difficult terrain for any stroller, the beach wheels help disburse the load over a wider surface so they improve the amount of force required to pull the stroller backward. Depending on the sand itself (dry, wet, soft, deep, etc.) the effort required can really vary.
